Stash Busting Saturday - Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone, it is time for another 'Stash Busting' show and tell.

For this week's Stash Buster I have selected two of the sheets from the Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.  The floral pattern I cut into 4cm x 7cm pieces and the Pebbled Path patterned paper I cut into 2.8cm x 7cm pieces.  These were adhered to a Basic White mat 11.8cm x 7.5cm and then adhered to the Garden Green card base.

I made 14 of these cards which I am donating to the Nursing Home that took such great care of my Mum.

I hope you enjoyed these Stash Busting cards.

Stash Busting Saturday - 6" x 6" Neutrals Designer Series Paper Assortment

Hi everyone, it is time for another 'Stash Busting' show and tell.

For this week's Stash Buster I have taken the 4 sheets of Early Espresso coloured patterned paper from the 6" x 6" Neutrals Designer Series Paper Assortment and cut them into 2" x 3" pieces which were then matted onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and this was matted onto a piece of Early Espresso cardstock. I embossed the front of the card to add a little more interest.

The pieces of patterned paper that had the white dots I did alter slightly by drawing lines at different angles in the white dots using an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker.

The Rose and Leaf image was coloured using Light and Dark Calpso Coral and Light and Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends.

I made 24 cards from the 4 sheets of 6" x 6" and I have used these for my swaps this weekend at OnStage in Melbourne.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Stash Buster cards.

Notes of Nature Book Binding Z Fold

Hi everyone, sharing another Book Binding Z Fold card.  I have used the Notes of Nature stamp set and dies and the Lovely & Sweet Dies.

I created another cluster embellishment for this card.  I just love how these turned out on the set of 4 cards I posted last Sunday, you can find these here.

The centre panel was stamped using Pecan Pie ink stamped off once and then die cut on the one edge using the die from the Notes of Nature dies.  I distressed the edges of this piece and slightly offset it when I adhered it in place.

Some of the Adhesive Backed Cork Rounds were added to finish the card.

I love how all these elements come together on this card.

Stippled Roses for a Happy Mother's Day

Hi everyone, sharing a card I made recently using the Softly Stippled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper and the Stippled Roses stamp set and dies.

The Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper is no longer available as it was part of the recent Sale-A-Bration promotion which ended on the 29th February, however it still have a few sheets left in my paper pack which I am using up.

I really like how the stamping on the Designer Series Paper turned out.  It is not something I do very often but the light colour of the Designer Series Paper gave me the opportunity to try this out.

I know that it is a bit early for Mother's Day cards here in Australia, but I am getting a head start for the cards I sell at work for the fundraising efforts of our Relay for Life Cancer Council Team.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
